How We Began

The vision to provide companies with results-based expertise started over ten years ago.

Over the past decade, technology has become its own business and drives many of the initiatives we are now working on. The team of ITSS Partner began to see the need for change in IT strategies for companies throughout many different industries and regions around the world.

Through the leadership and tenacity of Rick Shadix, founder and senior managing partner, ITSS Partner started working with partners to help break into and engage the U.S. Market.

Meet Our Founder

Rick ShadixSenior Managing Partner

With over 30 years of experience in the IT industry and 20 years as a business entrepreneur, Rick Shadix is an innovative leader who strives to bring excellence to current business ventures. At the age of 19 he co-founded a small application development company in the Atlanta area called Computer Link, “Building the Link between Computers and Business”. This experience taught him at an early age the value of client relationships, customer satisfaction and the importance of quality work done right the first time and minimizing mistakes, confusion and issues. He took that real life experience into Corporate America working his way up the corporate ladder into several C-level positions in multiple industries. In the late 80’s he was part of a leadership group at GTE Data Services, now Verizon, that architected, developed, implemented and maintained a client server nation-wide application that innovated GTE’s outside and inside work management. Over a period of five years GTE recognized a savings of over $200M and a version of the system is still in production today for Verizon. In 2001, as the Vice President of Information Technology for Nielsen Media Research, at the time a $16B dollar industry, now The Nielson Company, TV, Internet, Mobile, Radio and Retail Global ratings company, he was successful in implanting strategic initiatives and improving cost. Delivery schedules were increased by 45%. Shadix developed a global managed services practice at CommerceQuest (now Metastorm, Inc.), one of the then fastest growing technology .com companies in the United States in the late 90’s. This practice was responsible for implementing enterprise architecture and integrated solutions to support the e-Commerce initiatives of many of the world’s largest companies in the United States in the late 90’s and early 2000’s – during the .com explosion. He was a key contributor in orchestrating the creation of a SEI-certified Level 3 outsourcing services and performance center during his tenure at Decision Consultants, Inc., now Ciber, Inc., for such organizations as CSX Transportation, Disney, American Airlines, IBM, Ford Motor Company and Chrysler Motor Company. During his tenure at Decision Consultants, Inc., now Ciber, Inc, he created a global professional services organization that support Mercury Interactive, now www.hp.com, automated testing tools such as Test Director, LoadRunner and Quick Test Pro (QTP). Over the past 10 years he has been providing strategic consulting to many Fortune 1000 and Mid-Size organizations on strategic planning and process/delivery improvements, such as Nextel, now Sprint, WellCare, and HealthPlan Services where he provided senior management with input and direction on resource planning process improvement, ROI, technology direction, purchases and vendor management. Over the course of his three-decade career he has had the unique position of being both an information technology executive for some very large companies, but has also provided senior level consulting and outsourcing services to businesses worldwide.
